what makes him tick
Hi, I'm Dan Knezacek. The idea of writing about myself is rather foreign to me. I usually write about others, stuff, or God.
In spite of my Czech name, I come from a long line of
jordan 7 bordeaux
United Empire Loyalists, who left Boston during the American revolution and came to Canada. We've been in Ontario since then.
As a child my passion was aviation and airplanes. Building models that actually flew (after a fashion) I reasoned that "If I can build a model that can leave the ground, wouldn't it be fun to build an jordan 7 bordeaux
airplane that could take me into the air, and return me in one piece?" Thus began my hobby of amateur aircraft building. While I enjoy building airplanes, I found there was no spiritual fulfillment. That is where my faith in Jesus Christ comes in, and my passion for jordan 7 bordeaux
biblical End Times prophecy, or Eschatology.
My first attempt at building an airplane met with a dead end. When I sat in my welded-up fuselage I discovered that it was too small for me. The plane was designed for a man of about 5' 6" and since I am almost 6' 2" I could barely squeeze in. Being a tail dragger it is probably a good thing that I sold that project. Taildraggers are jordan 7 bordeaux
notorious for attempting to switch the location of the nose with the tail, because the center of gravity is behind the main wheels.
Several years later, after marrying for the second time, I bought plans for a Zenair Zodiac CH601HD. At the time I was also bordeaux 7s
starting a business as a printer and graphic artist. So, juggling duties as a husband, and entrepreneur, my aircraft building activities got off to a slow start. Along the way came two new babies which further complicated things. Karl and Klem are wonderful kids, and welcome additions to my jordan 7 bordeaux
family. I didn't mention I have a son from my first marriage, as well. Alex is now a police officer with the Peel Regional Police force, just to the west of Toronto.
I found that there is always the conflict between time and money. Usually if you have one, you don't have the other. So for the first couple of years of printing, before I developed a customer base, I had a lot of time bordeaux 7s
, but very little money with which to buy aircraft building materials. That was the time I bought my first computer, a 486 with DOS and Windows 3.1.
It was that computer I used, with Corel Draw as a graphics program, that I discovered I had a talent for writing. Having only bordeaux 7s
squeaked through high school English, it came as a surprise that I could write. I found myself writing ad copy for customers, as well as frequently checking dictionaries and a thesaurus. Because I limited bordeaux 7s
the employment to just myself, and occasional part-time help, I found I could make a living, but I certainly didn't become rich. One advantage I had, because it was a home based business, was that I could go to the garage, when things were slow, and work on my airplane project.
Now, I have met a couple of guys who built the same airplane in less than a year, (from a kit) but it took me eight years from start to first flight. It also took about $8,000, or about 1,000 a year, to get it bordeaux 7s
to that point. The initial performance was disappointing, so after a year of flying, I took out the engine, a VW Beetle powerplant, and began to work on replacing it with a Subaru engine.
This time I went back to school to become a CNC Machinist, and so the airplane project languished in a nearby private airstrip, waiting for some TLC. That attention eventually came and C-FZQH took to the air again in the spring of 2008. Now I knew I had substantially more horsepower in the Subaru than I had with the VW, and yet the performance, while marginally better, still did not match the advertised specs. I knew the company was not lying, because I had spoken with other owners, who verified the company's numbers.
To make a long story short, with tweaking the angle of incidence, and dramatically reducing the radiator intake size, I was able to gain about 15 mph in cruise, and the plane now flies hands off, at almost exactly the advertised speed!
In hind sight, I would not recommend putting an automotive engine in an airplane. While some of those engines can do the job, there is a lot of work involved in engineering the installation. Not only did I have to install a new engine and electrical system, I also had to make a new custom cowling. The engine weighs as much as a Continental O200, but produces 28 hp less. To top it off, the company who did my conversion is no longer in business.
Nevertheless, it is a blast to fly, and building it is an experience I wouldn't miss. If I had the money I'd do it again!
Just for interest's sake, my installation has a Subaru engine, a VW Golf radiator, a Volvo carburetor, two lawn tractor batteries, and a marine alternator. It was fun doing the installation, but in the mean time I wasn't flying, unless I rented a plane.
In 1995 I purchased my second computer, with Windows 95, and shortly thereafter I was surfing the internet. I had read my first book on biblical prophecy back in my teens, and the subject had been a passion since that time. I found the internet to be an amazing research tool, and in a short time had read numerous articles, from a variety of sources, on subjects such as Church governance, wine in the bible, the various interpretations of the bible's End Times prophecies, and more. The internet is like a library that we can access in our own homes!
Of course I also discovered that there are a wide variety of opinions on any subject. I would estimate that 98% of the opinions you find on the Internet are in error, and even those who are mostly correct, still make mistakes. Still, this isn't any different than real life, is it? In fact the bible itself says "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." I John 4:1
This is what I did. By comparing Scripture with Scripture, and attempting to find every relevant Scripture passage on any given subject I was able to come up with an End Times theory that explains far more of what is going on, than any of the other Eschatological systems.
I found places in the Law of Moses that are relevant to the End Times, and even a place where Moses alludes to a pre-Tribulation rapture of the Church. I found things in the life of King David of Jerusalem, that relate to the life and policies of the Antichrist. I found passages where the reign of the Antichrist is compared, and contrasted, with the policies of Jesus Christ, which He will employ during His millennial reign!
The common idea of a pre-Tribulation rapture, which is under attack these days, is actually mostly correct, but there are some events that most of the scholars have missed. As Jesus said, every "jot and tittle" is important, and relevant to the study of Scripture. Some times the smallest words can make a huge difference. While we need to keep the "big picture" of prophecy in view, we need to pay attention to the little details as well.
One detail that many miss is the difference between "hills" and "mountains". One man's hill is another man's mountain, correct? This is true, except when studying the Word of God. God picks his words with the utmost of care. He invented language in the first place. While Rome was classically known as "the city of seven hills" there is actually a city in the bible that was known as "the city of seven mountains (or jabals)". This city was known as Philadelphia, during the time of Christ, and it will become the home base of the man known as the Antichrist.
The confusion between this Philadelphia, and the one found in Revelation 3, will be exploited by the Antichrist and will result in many professing Christians following this man. The city in question is the closest neighbor to Jerusalem, residing just across the Jordan river, known today as Amman, Jordan.
I have also found that two wars, commonly thought to be Tribulation wars, may actually be late Church Age wars. These wars, found in Psalm 83, and Ezekiel 38-39, form the framework of a decoy Tribulation period. What I mean is that these two wars will look like the Tribulation and Armageddon to an amazing degree. Many Christians will find their Eschatology changing when these wars occur, because of this similarity, and many will begin to believe that they are IN the Tribulation period!
The peace resulting from the Israeli defeat of the Arabs, during the Psalm 83 war, will allow Israel to begin to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, and the treaty that allows them to do it will be interpreted as the "covenant" that Israel signs with the Antichrist. I expect that this treaty will guarantee Israel security in exchange for them giving up their nuclear weapons. The European leader will be identified, by many, as the Antichrist.
Following this time of peace, the nations of Iran, Turkey, Libya, Sudan, Russia and the former nations of the Soviet Union, will attack Israel in the Gog and Magog war. Anticipating a European defense of Israel, Russia, or Iran, will destroy Rome in a preemptive nuclear attack. This destruction will be identified as fulfillment of Revelation 17 and 18, which would mean that the next event on the prophetic agenda would be the return of Christ. This will be the time that the real Antichrist will arise.
